Description

Last night went to see Nino Katamazge, Republic of Georgia. As I am not her agent, I am not telling you about my impressions. Just see her image and try to remember the name. Enjoy your weekend and the rest of the year. Nikolay

Like the way you are displaying three excellent photos of this high energy performer. She appears to be actually in movement as she sings displaying much emotion. I did listen to her briefly on You Tube. Well done. Bill

it's amazing to me that Nino K. isn't known better in America: She does a mix of jazz & soulful ballads mixed with some Eastern European folk and other influences. You got her look and her passion, and from the composition (I agree with Gun on your composition), it looks like you've done theatrical photography before. If not, you have a definite feel for it. It's an art all to itself, and this feels right at home in the art-form...Expressive work, Nikolay, and fine use of b&w. And thanks for reminding us of her: The few times I heard recordings of her, I was very impressed. Nice to see this style; and congratulations on 450! No small feat considering the quality of your uploads.

I have not ever heard of her before. Of course I had to go to you tube, and I must say I am in love with her music. I intially listened to maybe a minute of one song, went to a live video, then another song, and I am hooked. She has a powerful delivery, a powerful voice, and a powerful presence. I hope her popularity continues to grow. Your photography is marvelous, captures her so well and projects her powerful and emotional impact. I might add that although I did not understand a single word .. I enjoyed every minute of the three or four songs I listened to all the way through.
