To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Love the grunge!! but this picture reminds me of a movie Black snake moan. the picture has nothing to do with the movie but it would make a good cover for a DVD for the movie. very good picture i really like it.

I have known some suicides and they are both arrogant and dangerous. There is no reason to be filled with pity and drawn into a trap. Your image is a true cry for help and recognition that you escaped by your whiskers. (peachfuzz if you prefer)

(Amnesty International: Yes! Great response!) Well I see fun in this too. Yes, I can see some Mandi in it (and hey, a little Mandi goes a long way, she's one of my favorites)...but I see Mina all over it too! I think it's actually fun in a macabre sort of way. Does that make me warped? It feels like a soul play-acting at being trapped: He/she is pushing their way out of some inner time-warp, and they almost seem to be smiling in a macabre kind of way. I like the crackled-dungeon background, like rusted & cracked iron; and I like how you brushed the face all over with rust and sinister hues. It feels like a scene from Dante's Inferno (it could be a companion to your Purgatorio upload!). It's imaginative & sinister & creepy, and (to me) darkly fun. Very imaginative realization, Mina. Now go out and dance the Nutcracker and have cookies & milk and invite over the Sugar Plum Fairy and some magic dust. We'll share jokes with your upload while you shake this person off! I really like this, I think it's a lot of fun, what can ya do!
