Description

I can't seem to stay away from those egrets. In the original foto, there was a bit of water showing. I learned a new trick (thanks, Tara!!) and it gave the shot a whole new look. entirely egrets

Both images are really great, Marilyn, but I like this one the best. Addition of the water gives the egrets a reason for being where they are at the moment.

I'm a great fan of variations on the same picture, so you're in a favorite territory of mine. I like this as much as the last. But you didn't just show us water, you toned it down to a bluer-grayer tone & it's more reflective as a result. (The tone is in harmony with the water too...) I like both equally, and I love that you present your subjects in different ways & settings here: It's part of the wonderful spirit of your gallery.

Beach loitering... a favorite pastime of both humans and, apparently, egrets.:-)

It appears that you have certain regrets over these egrets. They congregate by the only water hole around for miles and miles. And I assume your friend Tara gave you a tip on cloning with Photoshop.
