This image of my granddaughter, Kayla, was taken a couple of weeks back. It looks like she was caught with her hand in the cookie jar! It almost has that "I'm innocent until proven guilty grandma" vibe to it. She is a darling...

wow, I came here because Tara linked your image to her "serenity": This is beautiful, Carin. The tilt, the light, the shade, the just perfectly modulated softness (not too much, not overdone, it's like music here), the hair is softened out as if it blended into the air, her eyes & expression are beautiful & spontaneous, and your background has a gentle pinkish flesh tone to it, like her skin. A beautiful portrait of childhood, very delicately done. I have to come here more often...
