I have a confession to make at heart I am glamour photographer, but ever since joining Renderosity. And seen the landscape work that you and the fellow Renderosity members do, I have changed my point of view about landscape photography, I now look forward to weekends, just so I can get out into the bush and take photos, and feel great about them, thank you for this inspiration and keep up the good work.

Lovely image and a very fascinating narrative... I did not know it... but then again - I'm buried in smog and crime here in Gauteng!!!!

A fascinating story. The tunnel is in a very high spot so it wouldn't be much use unless it could be connected to a bridge. It's a strange sight up there... Fabulous work and sleuthing to find this place.

great story! but I would guess it's too steep for a train, unless it goes around a hill in a huge loop... interesting anyway, thanks!!!

Great picture & story, a hike to the tunnel and back would probably be very interesting.

Hi Chad, well taken, next time you will have to make an entry from the other side so all can see there is in actual fact a railway line in the tunnel. A lot of history worth a lot of photo's. For the exercise and effort 5 rating. The train line has the most reverse points up the mountain as the bends are to sharp for a normal bend.
