Are you sitting on a tree Bruce?...cool angle, makes me see further and give more depth to this forest. Excelent capture, I don't miss the colors at all, perfect in B&W.

I think this was a worthwhile pursuit, but it is quite busy. Let's say it's pushing the "busy" envelope. I guess I'm trying to find a point of entry for my eye, and then a path to follow once I'm in. This is the complete opposite of "Grunge" from yesterday where there was such a strong focal point. The ramped up contrast is just right to communicate the point of the image.

Curious about how it would look in color? Like how you don't know where to focus your eyes until you see the lower shadows which slows down your eye-scan and then you can take in the whole image.
