Description
A look at my bird guide when I got home has led me to conclude these are Goldeneye , I welcome other ideas. Seen on the Moray Firth near Inverness on Thursday.

Widgeon and Teal, i think. you could certainly expect to see Goldeneye up there at this time, however. (a few years ago, Goldenye were breeding in Scotland, i don't know if they still are).
