Description
I know the people who live where snow is hates this or so bore with these images i be posting it be old hat to them.
That ok ; you have to remember it do not snow here or if it do it melts the second it hits the ground. This time it was here for a halve a day.
Here you see mine truck ready to go. I took shots of the house and all and this one was the best one. I noted for 3d people and all that do snow it was falling in diff ways and not like rain in one way.

Anyway I show what I saw on the way to Lake Martin which I was spooky to do for I do not know how to drive in snow or on ice. Even if you do you do not wish to drive here when it do for you may know how but the people here do not.
Thanks for looking and comments and votes. i know this photo is not much but got to start out somewhere and go to some wheres. Good to study how snow falls so you can put it right in 3d art too
oh last time it snowed like this here was in 1972 and I remember when I was a child it came up to my knees. Old people here say it use to snow every year and the ice be in the shadows all winter. but then the Atom bombs tests change all that and it no more. Think they moved the jet streams to where they at today. This is the most they have on record for Dec. for snow. now rain that a whole diff ballgame

We had snow here last night, but only a couple of inches at the most. The trouble here is that whenever we have snow, it turns to ice on the roads. It's like driving on a skating rink, and we have a lot of hills! Yikes! Not a good combination. I hope you had fun with your snow! :) You got a great shot.

LOL, I've lived up north all my life, and every winter people drive like they've never driven in snow before. Driving in snow is a piece of cake if you just slow down. It's the ice that gets you!! Awesome shot Jock, hey, it might even be a historic shot!! Who knows when you'll get snow again!

Hope you had time to enjoy this...threw a few snow-balls or made a snow-man.. They also had snow in Texas from that storm.. Way up here, we got about a foot of the white stuff...with some ice..

Snow's a big deal here, too. At the moment, there's some on the hills across the valley, maybe down to 300 feet, close enough for me!!

I was there in 72 and remember that. Cool shot my friend. Yeah we got hit pretty hard here in the Oregon Valley .We usually do not get snow as often.But my dogs loved it.

I think 1972 was a freak year all over the world for weather, we had a snow storm and about four inches of snow fell, in wait for it JUNE. About the sixth of June I was driving to work in the petrol refinery at Ellsemere Port, and the snow came down with a vengence. What gets me is every time it does snow England comes to a standstill, people just don't know how top drive in it. They just get into their cars and shove the pedal to the metal, and the best way to drive in snow is to just tickle it nice and slow and keep moving. Revving the hell out of it will get you now where at all just spinning wheels. It must have been fun for you Jocko, only getting snow now and again, I think it was 1972 when it snowed in Africa as well, I remember seeing all the kids and adults running around with their hands in the air, laughing all the time. Excellent capture my friend, and I will never ever find this sort of photography boring. Superb capture and an excellent narrative. Bravo!!!!!

the tv said that 'Orleans had snow in 2004 but I do not remember.excellent capture and very few people know how to drive on snow, but ice is the real threat.being from Oklahoma, I know what ice is all about.Tulsa has it's share

I remember my husband talking about snow in Galveston, maybe it was 1972, and how grown men got out and played in the snow like little kids. :) I saw this on the news, a rare treat for y'all and hope you enjoyed it.

Folks up North don't realize how amazing it is to get any snow on the Gulf Coast, let alone snow that accumulates. I'm sure the kids in Louisiana, Eats Texas, and across the Southeast thought this was just great. Cool night snow pic, Jocko!
