Description


This is a glass ball made from Mount Saint Helens ash. When Mount Saint Helens blew on May 18, 1980, there was a LOT of ash around here. Some of the ash ended up in the hands of glass makers, and the local market was flooded with jewelry and figurines and hundreds of glass items made from Mount Saint Helens ash. Like your low light images...this is a nice one..went up to Mt. Saint Helens several year back on a motorcyle trip...the visitor center before you go up is very interesting...
