Re-texturing one of the C4D Retired in LightWave 7.5 for planned animation. Color maps from Mayang, Bourke, ImageAfter and my photos. The first version of the scenery. Enjoy!
Partially inspired by the work "Obsolete" by Pawel Hynek, seen at CGTalk. The tape vending machine poster is made in C4D 6CE+. The oil distributor is based on a standard soda producing self-service saturator found on Polish streets in 1970s and 1980s. The instant repair brigade communication terminal [modeled in Blender 2.46] comes from one of my favorite films, like the Robby.
17 .obj files [some with instances], 306 layers total. >0.3Gigapolygon, 84 surfaces, 8 lights. Render time 33h 57min. with Enhanced medium antialiasing on a Celeron 1.5 with 0.5GB RAM. Last fixes added in 2D from fragment renders [incl. the new accumulator]. And I want to animate THIS!

Thanks everybody for the comments. Really warm feedback!! Especially for all that struggle I had to do to make all this junk work. @Rhanagaz: Could you link the img, or give its title, pls? Haven
t seen it before, I
m afraid; I based my idea on that from the "Obsolete", as I stated in the credits. Many other ideas here are from "outside", btw:P Just trying to look if the "noddy" way works in my case.Silgrin

You're all over the place in this one, aren't you? Love the concept, creativity and thought you put into this (and definitely appreciate the time). Now have fun animating this.
