Description
As I started to drive away from the beach, I had to go across the road that was so full of sand, debris and other flotsam and jetsam. This is the parking lot, those concrete barriers show where it's supposed to be. The edge of the beach drops off about 6 or 8 feet and the surf is still a hundred feet from there at low tide. It's a huge, wide beach, so you can see how massive these waves were.

Waves are one thing but swells are another. They can swamp an area quickly too. Great shot here and a very interesting sight.
