Awesome capture!!

Great and entertaining#:o) shot, Jock. It reminds me of Denmark.. when the first snow falls... There are always a tremendous amount of cars, sliding off the road. It always take a few days, before drivers learn to adept the speed to the weather conditions.+5

Very nice shot, in whole Europe it is snowing like hell and even here in Spain on the costa Brava in Barcelona, in Leon and in Asturia very much! On the coast it's only raining, but in the mountains behind you see the snow on their tops - take care my friend - Brrrrrrrrrrr! Hug's Ute

It's more like ice than snow... or those guys really don't know how to drive on such a condition... Great shot, thanks for sharing!

This is the biggest problem for drivers that don't see snow on a regular basis, they just don't know how to drive in it. It has to be treated with respect, a gung ho attitude is not the answer. Your 25mph is though, just tickle that peddle and be ready for anything, high revs is a definate NO NO. Excellent capture Jocko, I would email this to the local paper, you may well get a couple of dollars for it and published in the paper with your name. Great jounalistic capture, the sort that sells papers, the public want to see someone take a dive in the ditch. I hope the driver was OK, and that he/she learned a valuable lesson about driving in snow. Superb work my friend. Bravo!!!!!

When I was stationed in Japan, seems like when it first snowed that everyone got into some kind of accident. Then everyone got adjusted to the slippery conditions. The snow stops and weather clears up. Then it snows again and everyone gets into an accident again. Hope no one got hurt. Right on for 4X4 Truckers..... Your news as it comes is excellent. Aloha

Amazing photo capture Jocko! Snow, sleet, and ice can look pretty looking out from a warm room when it is on trees and the ground, but these things do not mix well with roads, cars, and ditches. Hope noone was hurt. Your fine quality photo even shows the shiney slipper glaze where vehicewl tires have spun and really "slipperied up" the road surface!

Reminds me New Hampshire roads, a few years ago...

Great capture Jocko. Thats how some of the streets looked today in Phoenix, because we had rain. Nobody slows down.

Don´t take the brake! Don´t take the gas! Don
t take the steering wheel! We have had those situation in Germany in late November for a whole week with thousands of accidents, some of them deadly. In our TV News they were very sad: "it seems that Germany
s cardrivers have a big problem with the winter this year - even after a week! When will they learn?" Thanks for sharing this, Jocko! And: Take care, winter is just beginning....
