Description

I know the people who live where snow is hates this or so bore with these images i be posting it be old hat to them. That ok ; you have to remember it do not snow here or if it do it melts the second it hits the ground. This time it was here for a halve a day. Here you see mine truck ready to go. I took shots of the house and all and this one was the best one. I noted for 3d people and all that do snow it was falling in diff ways and not like rain in one way. ISO 320 expousre time 1/30 f stop 4 just in case you wish to know and i did not have my tripod. Lost a lot of photos. wish I used one the ISO some lol Anyway I show what I saw on the way to Lake Martin which I was spooky to do for I do not know how to drive in snow or on ice. Even if you do you do not wish to drive here when it do for you may know how but the people here do not. Thanks for looking and comments and votes. i know this photo is not much but got to start out somewhere and go to some wheres. Good to study how snow falls so you can put it right in 3d art too oh last time it snowed like this here was in 1972 and I remember when I was a child it came up to my knees. Old people here say it use to snow every year and the ice be in the shadows all winter. but then the Atom bombs tests change all that and it no more. Think they moved the jet streams to where they at today. This is the most they have on record for Dec. for snow. now rain that a whole diff ballgame

Yep, you guys down there got some snow last week and the states above me got snow and ice storms. Luckily, this time 'round, all we got here in eastern PA were heavy rains that brought many creeks and streams over their banks. I'm used to driving in snow and it doesn't bother me....ice? That's when the Jeep stays put, right in the driveway. Great rare capture you mangaed to get, Jock.

You sure got some snow there Jocko! Nice photo too!! We had ice and snow here for several days, then it warmed up the last two days and most is gone. So what's it do next, back to cold and windy, with, I expect, snow to come back again soon. That would be okay , but here it will stay too long!

I am happy we did not get any in Florida. You had all the fun. did you build snowmen? It looks wet enough. Just pack a ball and start rolling it. In another thirty years maybe.

We also got that snow in 1972 in the Galveston area. I have a picture of my 6 mo. old boy being held on his feet with a huge coat with hood that covered his face in about 2 inches of snow. It was such an event. But I hear this snow was bigger and better than that one. We have a friend in Baton Rouge who is still yammering about it :-) Great shot, Jock, and I know how exciting this was.

Outstanding! I don't know about your indictment of the atomic devices vis-a-vis the change of the planet's climate, though. Nothing's been proven yet as to the real source of the change.
