Description
Yeah, yeah, I know I have been a lazy a$$ and didn't upload much lately. Here is Africa in it's raw form when the heavens erupt and huge amounts of energy's set free above us. Thanks to a special friend who encouraged me to upload this. I know it's totally blown out on the left but it was a continuous flash which lasted for more than a second. Spectacular to say the least, if only our equipment could capture the drama of it all.
Good luck to those of you who are caught in the grip of winter and endless snow. My sympathies from a warm and humid part of the world.

WOW! With lightening like this I would think that wildfires are a danger. It really fills the sky. Awesome job capturing this. I can never get lightening...all I get is the "after the lightening." LOL
