Description

I'll admit to a bit of digi-fiddle (grain, crop), but the backlighting is natural. The flowers were between me and a large window.

your digital work not only gave this grain, but a sculpted softness to the flowers. It's beautifully & sensitively applied. (People call it "manipulation" as if it were an add-on or an intrusion on the original image; but when it's done artistically, it's part of the image itself. I think it's used with genuine care here, not taking away from your striking shot, but exploring another world within it.) Wonderful composition of both form & color, and the background is captured beautifully too. Another sensitive flower shot from you.
