Description

Another shot of Makenna at her third birthday party. I have no idea what she was looking at - there was so much going on - but it must have been interesting! I had fun with the postwork ... do you think I went too far? :) This might be my last upload to the photography gallery for a while! I'm out of images that are ready to go, and don't have my photo processing program troubles straightened out yet. I promise I'll still come around every day and look at your pictures ... I can't stay away!

She does look deep in thought, what a sweet little girl. And no, you didn't overdo the postwork at all.

She is so cute even when she is faraway thinking of something serious. I recon the postwork is too far if an original picture became distorted unrecognizable with realy weird colors,in your case is works wonderfully with a beautyful little angel.

Excellent. At first glance I thought that this was an image of many years ago. I see a simpler time to go along with this child's early life. It fits well. Anyway, wonderful!

In this case your subject makes the picture regardless of how much you have post worked it. I am in a phase of making things as sharp as possible but softness in a portrait and particularly with a young child is very fitting. I like it. Ronnie gave you one solution above...I downloaded (free forever) Google's Picasa3. It doesn't have all the functions but it has a lot and can easily fill the bill for now. If you've never looked at it, give it a try...you'll like it and "the price is right". See, we just won't let you off the hook :) Bill

Well, I love the pose and especially like the color work but I'm not as excited about the graininess. But then, I spend so much time removing grain and noise that it could just be me. :-)
