Description

I've been combing through my files, looking for images that are good enough that I can resize them in Irfanview and just post 'em pretty much as is. There are thousands of pictures on my hard drive, so I'm bound to find a few to keep me going for a while! Does it sound to you like I might have a teensy problem? LOL! Anyway ... this is a picture of my back yard. It's from a winter storm last January, but believe me ... snow is snow, and this is exactly what it looks like right now. We've had snow twice this week with more on the way. It isn't supposed to warm up until Tuesday! This is quite unusual for Seattle. Most of the time when it gets cold it warms up within a couple of days. We've had below-freezing temperatures for over a week already. Yikes!

Great Photo! I understand your problem, I've had to burn about 75,000 images to cd to get room on my one partition

Good shot. Your snow looks wet and heavy. When it snowed here a few days ago the temperature was about 10F. This was good too. The snow stacked up but was so light and fluffy all I had to do was knock the snow off my windshield with a glove...no scraping. Bill P.S. You may find some hidden gems in those files.

Really a beautiful shot Tara! We don't have those beautiful flowing branches here...I've been watching the weather report still for Lynnwood and Seattle:-) We are getting it after you only heavier because of the area. With all thats coming I wish I was there instead of here! Happy Holidays to you and yours!

my niece must live near you. She too is saying it reminds her of home, Lone Jack Mo with the ice and snow they have been having. Excellent shot dear lady. Often check weather station to see temp and weather where family is on any given day. one in your state, another overseas in the arm in Kosovo, yet another in Army in Germany. They post pics on facebook and my space to keep their Aunt up to speed with whats happening around the globe. Come to Renderosity site each morning first thing ah the gypsy in me has itchy feet this time of the year.

I love pictures like this where the snow coats the limbs of trees and looks like it is painted on. Beautiful capture!
