Hello again, nice to see you back!
hope your Friday is an excellent one :-)
So for my 666'th upload, I present to you
some train tracks in different areas of Frankenthal
and a cool old building I happened to spot. enjoy :)
I will attempt to cath up more today. I am waiting
for Denmark (Copenhagen) to contact me back via email. for marriage plans :-) yep we want to tie the knots for sure, and as soon as possible! This
will be fun to travel to cool Denmark! I will take
many fotos of couse when we go! we will probably travel by train.

Congratulations!!!!! =) All the best for you both~ Ah the trains... Such a big part of life there, makes you realize what we are missing here when GM took them all away...sad part of our corporate greed history. Nice perspectives, train tracks just draw you~ =) On the building I notice the really neat windows, you can lean them in from the top for a bit of air yet keeping secure or you can open them wide like a door for a really good breeze or hanging out or as we did in our basement apartment, as egress to the back yard and the bbq~ The upper window still has the rolled shutter down, which is both for insulation and security, don't know why these are not installed in US (both windows and shutters).......There are shutters which pull down over your outer doors too. Feels like you are in a Keep at night. =)

I keep looking at Frankenthal on my Google map, and I'm having a hard time getting oriented with your photographs! The map makes it look like a smaller, more rural town than what I see here. Maybe I'm in the wrong place on the map. Ah well. I'm enjoying seeing your new home! :)

Cool photos, Mike. In the bottom one, I see the ghosts of former dwellings linger...their outlines, where once they stood, still visible on the existing structures. Congrats in advance of your pending marriage. There will be a RR reception, afterward.
