Description

Simply the best airline in my experience of air travel! From the curteous nice German flight attendants, to the real german bier in glass bottles! it was a very lovely flight indeed! and metal cutlery even?! amazing airline indeed. and they were promptly on time! and this is economy class I was sitting in :-) They had nice flight progress monitors, clear and crystal sharp flight chart graphics, cool little head phones with a lot of different genre music. movies playing in flight, generous meals. that depicted above was lasagne with mushrooms, salad and roll. non stop drinks including German beer for free! not bad for $515.00 from San Francisco to Frankfurt, Germany :-) one way. Cheers and I will try to comment your new upload in a bit. Note: last photo, is plane finally in Frankfurt airport after 11 hours... My God, seemed like forever to get here!!!

That's a long flight! I bet it seemed even longer because you must have been so impatient to land and see Claudia! An excellent advertisement for Lufthansa. :)

LOL! Seems like I am always commenting on your uploads in food related environment. The dinner entre' looks like a mixture of vegatable soup an soushie..not my kind of meal....but, I grew up on red meat and whole milk! Interesting capture...but kinda nauseating LOL

Wow! Brings back memories! I was living in Oakland when I flew to Frankfort (age 18, by myself). As I recall, flying from Oakland to Chicago with 1 hr layover (but stayed onboard) then to New York where at 10 pm I changed airports (they had a bus that connected) and then onto Lufthansa and a nighttime flight across the ocean.... total travel time... 18hrs. I was tired but happy to be reunited with my husband who met me at the airport with a friend who had a car so we drove to Bad Kissingen instead of taking the train (another couple of hours??? idk). LOL Adventures abounded in those days~ Thx for sharing your in-flight shots!

Did you have to come East to fly to Germany? Either way, I don't think I could have survived the flight over the Pacific Ocean or the Atlantic knowing there was nothing but water underneath me for thousands of miles.
