Description
This is for my friend Deb or best known as (Suncat1). She is a really super artist who does great work in Daz Studio. I love her science fiction images and her creative ideas she has for them. Most important is she is a truly wonderful lady who has been a friend to me for a very long time. Deb is great at telling stories and has a perfect memory for even the smallest details from long ago.The way she described her family to me made me feel like I really knew them. She shared this story with me a while back about what happened to her family one Christmas so I waited to share it with all of you now. As I've learned from my nieces sometimes all it takes is one of your kids showing you how much they love you to make everything alright. My best wishes for the holidays to my dear friends all over the globe. I hope you enjoy Deb's story and may God bless and watch over you all.

The Christmas Star: Once upon a time Deb's parents wanted a Christmas tree. Her Dad found one by a storage building and took it home. Her Mom said it was too tall, didn't have enough branches and left sap all over. Deb and her sisters Robin and Bonnie decorated the tree to make it beautiful. Their Mom put a lovely glass tree spire on top to complete their work. During the night they heard a crash and ran downstairs. Their cat Mitzy had tried to climb the tree and knocked it over breaking her Mom's cherished tree spire. Deb knew her Mom was sad and decided to do something special for her. Deb got a stapler, scissors, paper plates, foil and tassels. Deb worked so hard to create a magical star for their tree. Later Robin brought their parents into the livingroom. Their stood Deb holding her small foil star with little tassels she had made. Bonnie was holding Mitzy so she didn't spoil the moment. Her Mom was so touched she put the star on top of the tree and it stayed there all Christmas.

Note: Here is a update on my cousin Mary's husband Steve and thank you for being patient with me. He is doing much better and wearing the back brace now. They have managed to stand him and with help and trying to help him to walk. Keep him in your thoughts, prayers and meditations as he is a bit depressed that he won't be able to be home with his family for Christmas.

Oh my goodness, that brings tears to my eyes. Mother must have been devastated at losing such a fine heirloom but the kindness and love of the little ones cheered her right back up. Those are the true heirlooms that live in our hearts. Thank you again for sharing such a loving message at this time of year. Brian and I hope that you are well and your work is flourishing so that no more employees need to be without a job this season. Hoping, too, that Veronica is much better now. Brian fell from a machine a week ago and fractured his pelvis and broke his femur by his hip joint. It was tough for him at first but he's accepted that he has to heal and is working diligently at doing his physical therapy. Because it is hard to leave the house, Christmas eve will be at our house :) Love, Nancy
