Know what you are going through...my PeeWee had acute renal failure. 1999-2008 R.I.P. After surgeries, he was left with one kidney at 75% function...two years old at the time. 100CC's of lactated ringers daily for the next 7 years...drip method performed by myself. last summer he finally gave up...miss him dearly.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Obi was a lucky kitty to have such a family that loved him so much. I lost my Mr. Whiskers this October and it still hurts, so know that there are many of us here who understand your pain and grief.

I have only gotten attached to a few cats in my life... the last cat lived about 10 yeats and was mauled to death in 2003... our cat looked a lot like this without the white - my daughter named it tiger... They are special, they have a mind of their own and only listen when they want to... give it a little while, get a yellow lab, golden retriever, teach it to catch a frizbee... sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry! I've rescued 16 kitties this last few weeks and found homes for them, sneezing all the way. My best friend adopted one my mother rescued(for some reason, she has deemed me her pet human, and plops down in my lap, and hisses when any of the other pets come near). Even though I have allergies to the wee fuzzballs, I cheerfully stuff allergy meds down my throat so I can be near them. They become family, and we feel it like losing one of our relatives. My sympathies dear.

So sad for your loss, it is very sad. Such an illness is hard to endure, I have it but thankfully this year had a kidney transplant. I also had a cat who had renal failure, my thoughts are with you at this time.

I am so very sorry and feel so much for your loss of your baby. Like you I love my pets like they were my kids so I know what you are going through.
