Well, boys & gals, the painting is done...and so am I :p
I finished this late last night and I have to say that it was a relief to get it done. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to do, but in the end you just want to finish and move on.
The bright light in the image is NOT the moon...heh
Someone already pointed out how bright the moon was :p
It's more of a mystical light...something she's been waiting for in the dark.
Anyway...I've changed the background :p Guess you can all see that if you followed this. That was the main event yesterday that took a lot of time to redo. I wanted to surround her in a way that the background I already had didn't do.
In any case, it's done.
Thank you so much for following this and I might do it again at some point :) This was not really a tutorial of any kind, but it might shine a light on the technique that I use. It's in no way related to regular digital airbrushing...but you can blame the hours of classic training I've got for that one :p
Since I probably won't have the time to make any more paintings before the holiday frenzy starts here, I'll say Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year with this.

Wow, great talent you have. This turned out really nice. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but I seem to detect a resemblance between the character and yourself, specially in the eyes and mouth. Great work!
