Description
On the top floor of the Mansfield Reformatory, above the cell blocks and above the chapel, is what use to be the Tuberculosis Ward. This image required three separate exposures. I used the remote release to activate the camera and fired a flash by hand in each room during the exposure which was somewhat long due to low levels of light. I then combined the three images in Photoshop to render the image you see here.

Very neat job. I particularly like the flash of light in the center room which tends to bring your eye back into the photograph. Hey! A little paint, some new doors and, voila, the state could have a new condo to rent.

Wow.... a certainly eerie mood and atmosphere captured... and sent shivers down my spine when I read the little caption of what this place used to be; and what it beheld..... I think you've done a wonderful job capturing the essence and the feeling of this place.... so deteriorated and abandoned.... most beautiful lighting as well! Excellent composition!
