Description
A couple days ago, we had a bit of a storm that came through the area and dumped about 8 to 12 inches of snow on us. When I looked out at the birdbath and birdfeeder, I noticed that they were capped with the mounds of snow. It actually looked like a cake on the birdbath. Took the picture and only postwork was putting my name to the photo and resizing it.
Today is my Dad and Step-Mom's 35 Wedding anniversary.
If I had stayed married to my ex Yesterday (23rd) would have made 30 years for us. Amazing how time flies....

Awesome capture!! The bird bath looks like a cake plate .. with a cake all frosted in white on it! And the bird feeder looks like the pillare plate that holds the second layer of very fancy wedding cake, with the white of course being the frosted second layer. The overall scene is beautiful!

It does look like a cake! It has been cold here but no snow. I figure if it is going to be cold then it should snow. Beautiful picture! Stay warm!

Great shot. Congrats to your dad and his wife. People don't seem to stay married for a long time anymore. And that's OK. Whatever seems right. You're definitely right about time flying. If my husband had lived, it would be 41 years for me this anniversary.
