Description

I'll spare you the rant about how much I hate having had snow for almost two solid weeks! Yuk! It's still melting, and tomorrow the temperature is supposed to get up to 39F and they're promising rain. Thank heavens ... back to normal!! .......... I found a black and white button in Irfanview. Wow. Life is good. It's almost like postwork! :)

This is so pretty, what a wonderful shot! We've had alternating snow and rain all day, and the slush is nearly knee-deep right now. Should be interesting trying to get to work tomorrow!

I think it is snowing, no ? When i was a child i liked to jump in such snowed branches to become all under the snow, it was great believe me :D And my mom used to scream after me "Ho nooooooooooooo !!!!! You will be all wet !!!" But it was Santa Claus who asked me to jump like this, and no one believed me, even my mom.... :-(

This shot looks very crisp in B&W...I like it. Your snow does look like it weighs a ton. One good thing about the extremely low temperatures here...the snow has been light, powdery, fluffy. All you have to do to clear your windshield is flick your gloves across the glass or simply turn the windshield wiper on. Not bad. Bill

Snow isn't good for getting around or trying to stay warm but it sure does decorate everywhere beautifully, I love this!

ditto, dear helle: It looks beautiful! Really striking contrast & definition, makes snow look scintillating and filled with light. A beautiful winter photograph. Crisp enough to leap off the page and into our laps.
