Description

For the last 5 years, at the end of the summer, we rented a cabin for a week on a remote island in the maritime part of the Saint-Lawrence River. The place is wild, quiet and beautiful, often you could see seals and whales, I also can practice my favorite physical activity, walking and climbing on the rocks near the seashore. Last summer I slipped and fall down on the rocks, I cut a nerve in my left hand and badly broke my right hand. Four months later, after 2 surgery, the bone is still not heal, but I'm able to use a mouse for short periods. In this image I tried to have fun with the X-ray of my hand; you could see the bone with the 6 screws and the metal plate, the image of the fake mouse pad is a photo taken near the place I have the accident. P.S. Excuse my English, it's not my natural language.

No problems with your English - and thank you for making it possible for those who read the language to share your experience. As drace68 said, "Ouch. Best wishes on full recovery." Damage to the hands is, as you point out, a "nightmare" for the artist.

Wow, that is a really upsetting story! I am a typist by trade and if I get a hang-nail I am impaired! I hope that hand gets better soon!
