Description

Somehow I managed to render this waaaaaay smaller than I was intending, but I liked how it turned out, so I didn't go back and rerender it. This image was done in two layers, primarily because the coins on the Jarita hair cannot be adjusted, and I didn't want them defying gravity too much. I rendered them on a separate layer and then used the Liquify Filter on them in Photoshop. Jarita Hair is available here at Rendo and you can check out the rest of SWAM and Goldtassel's hair while you're browsing their shop. The outfit is obviously Aery Soul's Soulbringer. The character is Anais by Maelwenn. She is quite striking - I love the bone structure of her face. She is available at DAZ and has both Poser 6+ and D/S presets. Once again I pulled out the Faerie Dragon by Ryverthorn. I just love the little guy. I also used the Berry Dragons add-on for the Faerie Dragon by -esha-. Both can be had at DAZ. The FX prop behind the figures and the blue glowies in front are from Jepe's Cosmicz set at DAZ. Patlash created the brushes I used for the star-like sparklies. I did those in two layers with one layer white and with some diffuse glow, and the second layer a medium blue (like the dragons) and set to pin light. The brushes are available here in the marketplace and are called 50 Dynamic Sparkles. For lighting I went very basic. I loaded up 5 distance lights, set one to 100% with a shadow map set to 100% softness. The other four lights were spread around her and set to varying degrees of 50% or 25% to help brighten her skin and subdue the shadows from the main light.

Bright is good! Great character for that armor, I'd like to see a full character view with the same composition. The little dragons were a nice addition.

Gorgeous character, the lighting is great and I really like the magical effects all around her and the little dragons. Something about the image reminds me of the Final Fantasy games and the excellent artwork that goes with them, so nice work indeed!
