Description
Wanting to wish everyone a prosperous and happy new year. In my case, it can only get better and I pray and hope for health in my family and in yours too.

You may notice that my avatar is different. Just for a bit. I wanted to make an animation for everyone who ever commented on any of my works but the two test ones I've made seem to be pixelated. Bunny tested one for me but couldn't get the animation to animate once she uploaded it as an avatar. I found out that's because the file was 46kb. Your avatar can only be 12 or 14...something like that. Mine here is bare bones just to get it to work. I can make them any size, for any purpose, any color, any design, any animation style (rotate, spin, pulse, etc) but if I can't get them to not be pixelated then it really doesn't matter. I'm working on it and hope for a solution by next Christmas as a giveaway.
I am going to ask a favor of my friends here, and I hope it doesn't insult anyone, because I don't mean it that way. I'd like people to not fave my artwork. I truly appreciate the generous faves in the past and the happy feeling the faves gave me. In the new year I would like to kick back and be more relaxed about my postings. I don't feel that my work deserves it half the time so it is easier for me to not have them at all. Is that ok to ask? I hope so. Thanks.
Lastly, does anyone know where Visionart (Normy) is? He had an illness that was in remission but I haven't seen him in ages.

I can't help you with visionart... and about faves... I try really hard to limit my faves.... sometimes, it feels I want to on about 30%... but realistically, I fave maybe 5%... That's only one in 20.... so if I fave you, it's because I like it a lot and I want other artists who come to my gallery to see it on my homepage. If you feel some artists are just faving you to be nice, that's not me - anyone who knows me knows I'm not nice - lol... I'm joking.... If you really don't want me to fave you at all, I can honor your wish, but I don't think this message is for me, because I don't fave that often... You however, can fave me all the time, I like the exposure - lol Happy Holidays! PS... I do like your picture, It's very postcard like, however, I had no intentions of faving it... some things are better left unfaved no matter how nice they look... so, why don't you post something really wild that all artists should see and let's see if I remember not to fave you? LOL .... I have a poor memory... what did I just say??? LOL

Hi Nancy! One way to stop the pixilation is to save your frames out @ 1-26 bit rgb, then take them into Photoshop, Gimp or some other program, dither them down to 8 bit using addaptive palette, or a similar setting. This will take care of 90% of dithering/pixilation. But there is no 100% solution. Based on colors, it can really vary... More importantly, I hope you are recovering well!! Big hugs!!!

Thank you everyone. The faves is not about why people fave, it's about how I respond to the faves. I am not judging anyone at all. I didn't want the faves to become the reason I post images. You start to look forward to them and that should not be the reason that I post an image.

Well I like the card :) As I said to you you have far more imagination than I have - but I did finally get around to loading up Xara 4 and I did manage to do an animation (sort of in it :) ) of the words happy birthday so I was quite pleased with myself :)
