Description
Continuing excerpts from the diary of Toren Delgado, recording the events of what is now commonly referred to as "The Shortest War":
The alarms weren't in time to prevent one ship from getting hit. I'd thought the planners who had sent along armed escorts were paranoid. The war had been over for ten years, what could possibly happen? I should have known better than to ask that question.
We ran, of course. We were ducking around behind the planet to cain acceleration and some time to think. I couldn't have dreamed of the solution they came up with, but I've learned not to argue with people who know more than me...

Apologies for the long delay on this story, the holidays, winter storms, power outages, and you name it has all conspired to make the last couple of weeks kind of interesting.
This was modeled in Bryce, ship designs are my own (and you've probably seen all of these before) Background, compositing, effects, and post work all done in Photoshop CS3.
Thanks for taking a look, and as always comments, critiques, and suggestions (and even requests) are certainly welcome. Now maybe I can get back to some of the other projects that have been on hold for months...
