Hope all of you got through your New Year celebrations without a blinding headache!!! LOL... After all the festivities the last couple of weeks, I thought I would kick the new year off with a true African bush image. This is a very common scene in any Game Reserve in South Africa. The look on the faces of the animals is truly one of "check those humans"... It is almost as if they are just as intrigued with us as we are with them... The zebra family looks quite content and I count 9 pairs of Impala ears looking at me... (ok - the ears are not looking of course... but you know what I mean!) Hi Carin, no hangovers for my family :). I'm still jealous of your critters. It doesn't look like we will get there this year now as Fab booked the Brasil tickets but going via New Zealand instead. Oh well !!

I went into an outdoor store recently and I felt a pain from seeing so many heads on display of animals killed for someone's claim "they really bagged a big animal".I prefer seeing them alive and zebras are beautiful animals. they even had tiny Arctic foxes. outstanding nature capture and happy new year
