Excellent rural scene. I always love the lean that many of these hard working, old structures assume. Came to realize that this could happen with the old post and beam construction. Wooden pegs just hold on no matter what else is happening...nails pop, metal bolts rust out. However, we've still lost so many barns over the last 30-40 years... Bill

looks great I always like driving in the country you seem some very interesting looking buildings and arrangements of items just put there over time. But from an artistic point of view it is full of diffreent colors and textures and shapes forms! Great capture

very active facade, Lynell, it's got all kinds of stuff going on! Another of your highly focussed shots of the dignity of an old barn. Here the decay renders all kinds of hues & different saturations & lights. And that interior—what a nice gathering of pastels! So glad you gave us that! (I don't have a clue what that white section is, on the side—I take it it's a repair job, it's really fascinating!) Also you got the diffuse light of winter, and those beautiful spindly trees. I could look at your barns forever. Beautiful shot. Hope you're having a fine weekend too. (Reading Dave's comment...how nice he grew up around a farm. I grew up in a city. These shots are an education to many of us...)

Woo-hoo, can't get much more rustic than this! For an image, this is a real barn-burner! Oooops, maybe I shouldn't said that. Splendiferous POV, clarity and the color red popping out amidst the gray of the rest of the photo, Lynell.
