Description

The levee along the Eel River has been planted with some wonderful native grasses. This is one of them.

really vivid & fiery. In the midwest we still have pockets of prairie grass, and this looks similar to it (maybe it's the same). It's tall & exquisite, and it hisses in the wind, and it sways in huge undulating waves. And in the sun? Just what you caught here: Myriad strands of fire! You're giving us lots of beauty from your part of the world, and lightening up our winters! Really vivid shot, thanks for this.
