Another example of just messing around turning into a halfway decent image. As with the original "Red" image I'd been playing around with the transparency in the wrap texture. This time it worked, but in relighting the scene to get it the way I wanted, the front light came to dominate, making the transparency barely perceptible. I think the image lacks the impact of "Red" because the figure lacks "That Look" that the character and pose gave "Red", and there are no volumetrics. Still, I was pleased enough with it to turn all of the knobs up to 11 and render it large. Poser 7 Pro was used on The Last Of The G5 Powermacs. Non-Rendo stuff is - the V4 Fantasy Wrap and texture from DAZ, while the Dakotah hair and pose are from RuntimeDNA. The latter is from a set called "Outrageous" by Sydd. It'd have been nice to use one of Saintfox's IBL sets for the lighting instead of my own home brewed concoction, but I wanted something that'd render in hours, not days. Due to some fairly soft edges on the shadows the render time was long, it *was* turned all the way up (that's 36 samples per pixel), and raytraced lighting through a volumetric atmosphere would have killed it. I did use a Saintfox backdrop though :-) Oh, the figure, the figure - it's Tabitta by lkillerich, one of the small group of character creators whose work I'd buy sight unseen, knowing it was going to render well.
