Description

Set a lamp up to aim slightly to one side of my eyes and my camera on tripod and took a few shots. Its not easy to focus when your face is this side of the lens with your own finger on the trigger. LOL ! what seemed like the first hundred shots focussed mainly on my lashes or some horrible wrinkle, blemish or vein which made me feel like Arrrrgh ! This was just about the best effort, it was fun trying lol!

Well I think it was worth all the hassle, but then I wasn't being blinded by a studio lamp for an hour while I shot and shot again in frustration!

Very cool capture! The iris of the eye is so very interesting. I knew a teenager that did this with his new camera, but didn't have such a set up, and to this day I don't know how he did it.

So thats what an 'Artistic eye' looks like. #;0) lol. Excellent and unusual capture Alan, I have mine photographed once a year by the NHS but thats because of the diabetes and they photograph the back of the eyes. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
