Description

Another shot, looking up the mini falls! This time we've moved up on the rocks to take a closer look at them. The song we hear is brisk and spritely, full of laughter and joy as the water makes it way to the larger fall and then to the pool below. The sun feels warm where it touches the skin, the air is fresh and clean; it's a wonderful day to be here. Close your eyes and imagine the fae, of all types, large and small, jetting down the rapids and mini-falls, laughing and having a wonderful time. On the rocks around this area, are other fae, resting in the sun, drying off from their trips in the water. Maybe in the shade, there's some fires going, pots of soup simmering, the smells tickling the nose. Over in one of the quieter areas of water, the children are floating home-made boats of bark and leaves, watching them swirl around in the eddies and flows created by the water rushing past those pools. A couple of the flying fae are playing tag or worrying some birds or dragonflies as they dart by. Thank you for your wonderful comments on my last upload. I really appreciate them. Have a great day! Mike

Wonderful capture Mike, and it definitely feels like the ideal spot for the fae to settle down!

Sigh. Such sweet memories of summer .. shorts and t-shirts and bare feet, long slow walks down the creek with the dogs. One or the other lifts his head and stares hard, ears perked up .. was it a chipmunk or a suirrel? Or was it a fae or a wood sprite? Such a lovely falls with such happy waters!
