Description

99% Bryce 6.1...only postwork is signature.The ships and structures were modelled from primitive shapes,the ships textured in three Bryce metal textures combined with preset bump maps,the structures textured in an architectural preset and a concrete photo from cgtextures.com combined with a preset grid bump.The engine flares are spheres rendered in a preset atmospheric.Terrain is textured in a rotting wood Bryce texture with antialias turned off.Alien plants are a Baobob trunk textured in a stone preset combined with Magnolia leaves rendered in a purple gem preset(with some tweaking of the shaping of the trunk and branches done in the plant editor).Sky and atmo are a customized preset.Water is an acid water preset.Rendered in Premium setting. The scaling of those structures is massive, Neil. I especially like the way they are shrouded in distant haze contributing even more to their gigantic size.

Cool! The exhaust from the ships really engulf all life. An alien invasion. Subtle hints about our own environment with the polluted land? Excellent awareness print!
