Description

These may not seem the most 'natural' combo in the world, but I did them yesterday and felt they should be together! The brush drawings are rough-hewn, but I get lost in brushes--they're like flame to me! (Here are some others if you haven't seen them: here, here, and here). Brushes, pencil. The dog, felt pen. Borders done in Photoshop...

A very nice combo! Yes, the brushes do look soft, like camel hair or better. You can see exactly where your light is coming and they are very appealing. The dog is the icing on the cake, for certain. Lovely frame!!

And yet they do fit together, like a haiku with that shift in the third line. Have not had much time here lately, but do enjoy this set!

Ah, the pup's just there to keep you company, and the brushes do the work (well, yeah, you help them along, of course!!)....

Mark these images are magnificent my friend and it is hopefuly a sign you are feeling better. I can see how you could get lost in creating the brushes as it seems you poured a lot into the endless details. As for the dog let me just say anytime you want to include a dog that cute in a series of pictures you don't need a reason if you ask me :)

I can see why you would get lost in these drawings. They are great and have such depth and dimension. Perhaps the little puppy is waiting for the brushes to be done so that he can get some fur added to this coat. Wonderful work!!!!
