Description

First let me say: I want to do images for all you wonderful artists whose work I love & haven't honored yet. They're on their way: The next month or so. Second, this scraggly ink drawing is for a friend who's been caring for all kinds of people in distress, and deserves some uplift himself! It's for Dave, a.k.a. magnus073. Dave: The drawing is scruffy but I drew it from a chrysanthemum who'd been left outside by some friends: It kicked in the door & said: "Yeah, I'm cold: But I'm strong as an ox!" Dave, you're taking care of people all the time while caring for your family as well: So take this scruffy little drawing as my way of saying you're a jewel to a lot of people, and just like that mum, you're holding up no matter what. Come over & have a drink with the mum. (He had B&B...)

GOSH! I love it, Mark. I dont know how you do it, but I am amazed by it. You are so good at light and shade and I love your graceful lines. I am really thrilled, that you are drawing again. And ofcause Dave will love it. :))) FAV!

Wonderful dedi, and the perfect flower to use. Mums ARE those hardy souls, survivors of the flower world. I've fished some out of the trash and they're still in my garden. You couldn't have done better with this one.

Mark you are such a great friend and this gift means so much to me. Talk about a wonderful surprise I was taking a moment out from work and this amazing drawing really made my day and lifted my spirits. Thank you so much Mark, you are one of the kindest souls I have ever met and I will treasure this always.
