With old friends
Friends of ours

Everyone was having a good time
The only thing missing was me
There was someone in my space
Looking into your face
He was looking into the stars
That always made me shine
He was laughing at your laugh
Holding your hand
Making you happy
I can’t blame him
I am not even mad at him
He is not a thief
I was too busy looking around the corner
To pay attention to what was in front of me
I guess I got my wish
Now I am free
I just never knew
Freedom could be such a painful thing
