the kneeling woman is of course what we see first: She's filled with mystery, but she's also at peace. She's the rose as much as the rose is, I think...But around her, a waterfall of Mina: dark & light, and spills & lots of small patches of self-contained detail, and lights & falling stars, etc etc...it has fairy-tale elements and yet very sophisticated visual patterns (in sections you seem to get over-exposed leaves and other organic forms as if nature was in ultra-intense gear). And the house glistens like a fairy tale house, as does everything else. I realize, after all this time, that you defy gravity: You show us a world in which the sky is under our feet and the land is above us ("the wise look down on the clouds"...an old saying), and all of them commune in grace. Beautiful; and beautiful for the season. A fav.

Wow! So superb! This is like a gothic piece, but instead of the usual darkness, you get this lovely white scene....and the rose always represents love, or a promise...a wish... I love this, and I'd love to live in that cabin! Blessings to you Mina for the new year!

It's been wayyyyy too long again, mi hermana. Wish you knew just how often I think of you though. Always sending you tons of love, and good energies, and strength. Really hope these few words wing their way to you, to find you well and in an altogether good place. Now, the image: There are tons of faces barely concealed within this, and they take my eyes from the predominant, overall focus, into one facet of the image after another (which you can imagine, I totally love!). So, another beauty from you..all saturated with the energy du jour...just as yours always so successfully are. ;) Hope you had an absolutely beautiful Yule, and that the year ahead is kind and treats you gently. Oh, and btw, adored your collaboration (just got to that one, too) with Gwenolyne as well. That was a stunner. B-B 'n hugs*
