Description

River otters are smaller and (IME) less common than sea otters, but no less fascinating for their curiosity and animation. This family was playing along the shores of Henry Hagg Lake outside of Portland last Summer, a little on the shy side but willing to accept me at a distance. It's been quite awhile since I posted! Thanks for any and all comments.

Otters like to take the waters. If I could, I would watch them all day. [ Ed. True, there is a certain a = (acceptance distance | limit | < d) , involved with you ... Shorter for me than a wild critter! Great shot! ]
