Description

Another photo from the mountains of Snowdonia. It's hard to convey the immensity, the sheer feeling of mass and scale in a photo when there is no human or human artefact in the frame. I find a distant POV and a long focal length help, but in many cases, this one for example, the POV is constrained by the disposition of the terrain itself. Whilst these mountains may not hold a candle to the Himalayas, take it from me that they look very big and impressive when you stand before them, and that this photo does not do justice to their size.
