Description

Best viewed full size. Out walking with my camera one day I came across this insect. I only got the chance to take the one photo before it flew away. Fortunately I got the focus and exposure somewhere near right on the first go for once in my life. Notice the two protuberances with little balls on the end below the wings, some sort of stabilising mechanism perhaps? Also I only count five legs.

A really excellent shot of this Daddy long legs, well that is what I call them, a sort of 'pet name' :o). How amazing that they get along quite well without all their legs. Great macro shot!!! hugs Jane xx
