My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

That looks like one beautiful lamp. Nice close look and detail. Reminds me of butterfly wings.

Wonderful lead work - the old art of stained glass. Brillant crop. Very well done, Clive

Glad you mentioned your earlier upload...shame on me I missed it somehow, I check it anyway and a follow up as a close approach to this amazing stained glass work is fantastic. I have a soft spot for stained glass work. My kitchen cupboard has some made by a hard but rewarding work. I admire it every time I am stepping into the kitchen.

a real treat, esp. full-resolution. With Jodie, butterfly wings! Could also be peacock wings. But ultimately it's the design from the soul of a glass maker. I loved the whole lamp, love the close-up, and you allowed a lot of detail to come through...stained glass can be so striated and 'rushing', like little river-panels! This is lovely. (And nice lighting on the lead. The black background sets it off very well.)

This is a perfect shot giving me a good glimpse of the lead, glass construction. Black background really sets this off nicely. What rich colors too. Thanks... Bill

Most definitely Peacock feathers inspired this design, very pleasing to the eye, I adored your first upload of this Tara, just as I do this one. Excellent work, a piece I wouldn't mind owning myself. Bravo!!!!!
