MARVELOUS IMAGE... the mocking bird (a bigger bird than this) is the state bird of florida and i think it must have gone to their heads 'cause they're obnoxious.

beautiful looking bird I wish I could see nice birds where i live. Things have changed so much the birds seem to just vanish. Brilliant photo very fine detail I am just learning the camera could you tell me what size lens and if you used a filter?

Wonderful photo and a very nice series. I love seeing these birds. The bird population here has drastically declined in the past few years. I suspect it is due to the intense use of pesticides and herbicides along with GMO crops. Makes me sad. Bird feeders don't attract birds any more because there just aren't many around.
