Description

Still on the steampunk theme, here's a new model I'm working on. Needs some work, but I was doing some test renders and this came to mind so thought I'd share. Thanks for looking.

Now this is taking the paddle boat to entirely new levels! Cool idea and nice work on the rigging. Maybe pull the cloth further down and a little away from the semi-rigid along the bottom?

Yeah, the cover needs a lot of work. not the easiest thing to model and I'm not too sure how to cut corners (literally :-) The textures are really place holders and I need to create my own and probably more rigging. I am working out a lot of techniques for the rigging though.

Wonderful - the design, the colours, and lighting really hit the era's style and reminds me of their advertising art.

Like it a lot, but it looks too heavy for the blimp, and the smokestacks look like they are going to burn the blimp. Maybe you coud think of it as a hot air thing, and use the smokestaks as heaters ...

Aha, I knew someone would pick up on the size. You're under the assumption that it's helium, when in fact it's a, as yet undiscovered, gas that is much much lighter than anything we have in our universe. ;-)

Looks very cool, I agree with the size of the blimp, but with a bit of artistic licence and BG story, should be fine, excellent start.
