Interesting capture. You could have told us this was taken on a flight over the Grand Canyon...some of us would have believed you :) I know what you mean about the beach. I'm the same way. So, what am I doing living in Kansas? It gives me something to look forward to when I hit the road. Bill

this one is drenched in melancholy blues, whereas the last had mysterious whites. You really caught the textures too...some of these blue 'terraces' seem to be cracking, like ice floes. The amber earth is a strong contrast to the blues, and you give the sense that these terraced forms could go on forever...I assume the more you capture these beaches, the more infinite they become to you. I've seen a number of these shots now, yet I feel like I've only begun. Wonderful capture, Marilyn; you're bringing nature to us in high gear.
