Description

Lady Redbird, my resident cardinal, a house sparrow and a white-crowned sparrrow. I'm still trying to find a place in my yard that has enough light for these shots, especially with winter sun. This needed higher shutter speed and lower iso. Not the quality I would like, but I will try again one day. Large file size but best zoomed in. Thank you very kindly for your views and comments, I appreciate it.

Given the light and a low ISO, you did a great job Tex, what a beautiful colour that bird is, I am sure you'll remember the UK birds are very drab by comparison.

this is brilliant I just love the expressions on the little faces, I never knew that could show expressions. And the little guy on the right in number 4 standing up for his or her friend. I only wish we had birds like this over here. No birds are allowed in my garden because its patrolled by two magpies, for the last ten years or so the magpies have set up came near by and claimed a lot of gardens as theirs lol I love looking at your photos they are so cool.

Excellent capture of the Mrs.! Love #4 the best... :o) I have a heck of a time catching either of the pair(s) that reside here- even when they come for seed at my window feeder! They've got very good eyes and by the time I reach for my camera, they're gone...
