Description
BUY THIS CAR!!!
Seventy-fifth in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.
For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08.
A nice elegant automobile, with boss aerodynamic headlights, humongous fog lights and lots of shiny chrome, but it doesn't do for me what the other Cadillac models do for me. This one kind of reminds me of my Dad's 1937 Buick.
Thankx for the peek, and may this be the beginning of a propitious week for us all.

Another nice one. Love the red walls (inside the white walls) on the tires. Edit: - I try very hard to get this lingo... can you tell? :-)

I also like the red walls...actually, I like the whole car. These feel like real autos to me!

Yummy!!! I think this is my favorite car that you've posted so far. Its so 'Gangsta gangsta'. It makes me think tommy guns and fedora hats. Awesome Shots!!

Wonderful big sample of some fine automobil. Shame they did not do a "after dark" show where all the headlight and foggies on, na that would be realy something.

This one draws on the forcefulness of the sidemounts stuck in the backs of the fenders and the running boards. The rear looks a little weak in comparison.

Love that bottom shot! Awesome car.

I particularly like the bottom photo's POV. It is the view a dying man would get just before being run over by a beautiful 1939 Cadillac :-) Sure glad you attended this show. Have you considered some sort of summary type collages...I don't know...maybe 6-9 Cadillacs (smaller pics), or similar assemblies of other makes? Just a thought...for example, a 1600 x 900 or 1000 screen resolution would make a nice wall paper for my 22" flat panel monitor. Or, if OK with you, I could borrow a few photos and make my own multiple year & model collage. Love all you've done. Bill
