Description

Have some chrome! Seventy-seventh in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California. For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08. In instances like this, I wish the owners would have kept the hood/bonnet down and in place on their vehicular beauties, but they were determined to compensate for all the time and energy spent cleaning and polishing up the engine for display. Thankx for dropping by, and have a hootenanny of a hump day.

looks really nice, Harry, you know what? Looking on the upmost one I got the image of a friendly smiling monster with it's big mouth open...lol.. okay I know I have to much imagination sometimes...smile

I don't mind the open doors and bonnets. Reminds me of the matchbox cars, everything was "working" on those little models. Great red color.

Another popular car with the high school boys in my day...I think they lost some of their charm for me after they stopped making them with fins, though. Someone has spent a lot of money, time and love on this baby!

Gosh - I think my whole Toyota RunX will fit into the trunk of this monster... Well - very cute monster.. I hear Frank Sinatra and Elvis music when I look at this elegant car!!! :)
